Easter brought a glorious Spring with rain and snow, even in May! Easter dinner at my house with cousins and parents (not pictured)

Hannah has been excelling at gymnastics and Kelly delighted us with her role in her high school's production of Gilbert and Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance and many other accomplishments.

The flowering pear trees all over Provo are aromatic and gorgeous.

My garden was looking better, but I planted a few flowers too early which died in the snow and cold
It was wonderful to welcome Mark Taylor home from his DC and Guayaquil, Ecuador mission. He and his mom Marian spoke in church and the congregation was filled with the Taylor clan.
My grandson Simon (left,by the fence) is a great player

Kelly and Matthew at their prom promenade at the Provo Library
John and Luke Carlston celebrate their 14th birthday May 1.
They and sisters Stephanie, Elise and Phoebe are enjoying their "all day suckers"

I love the plum, pear, and cherry blossoms in my yard which hang over the fences

       Temple tulips
My friends Karen and Dave Anderson visited me and enjoyed the                 BYU art museum and the Bean Life Sciences Museum

Brian Kershisnik's wonderful Nativity (and Cat)

Leap into spring! Enjoy this lovely season!

And a very Happy Mother's Day. I am grateful to my mother and to all who have taught and nurtured me and my children throughout the years. We are the village for all God's children. There are so many who need our love and attention in any way we can find to give. Let us be kind and generous with our time, talents, and means.

My grand-daughter Cordelia (with her parents and sister) and the other first graders at Wasatch School put on a fun and heartfelt Mother's Day program today.
